หลังจากพลัดพรากกันสามปี คะนิ้งได้พบกับธนภพอีกครั้ง คำแรกที่เธอบอกเขาคือ แต่งงานกันไหม หลังจากถูกแฟนที่ดูแลกันมานานหลอกเอาบ้านที่เตรียมไว้สำหรับแต่งงานไป คะนิ้งเพิ่งรู้ว่าที่ผ่านมาเธอต้องสูญเสียอะไรไปบ้าง เมื่อเป็นแบบนี้ เธอก็แค่เปลี่ยนผู้ชายเท่านั้นเอง ที่หน้าที่ว่าการอําเภอ ธนภพคว้าข้อมือคะนิ้งเอาไว้แน่น แล้วเอ่ยเบาๆ ว่า ฉันยังไม่เคยบอกว่าไม่ตกลงเลย
