Description
전업주부인 카렌은 변호사인 톰과 결혼해 부유한 생활을 하고 있다. 어느 날, 카렌이 외출한 사이 집에 불이 났고, 다섯 살 난 딸 안나는 추락하고 만다. 선의의 시민 메리는 소방대장 밥이 운전하는 소방차를 타고 안나를 병원으로 이송하는 데 동행한다. 안나는 긴급 수술이 필요해 최대한 빨리 응급실로 가야 했지만, 소방차가 병원으로 가는 도중, 바람을 피우고 돌아오던 카렌의 차와 충돌하고 만다. 카렌은 사고 후 소방대원들에게 사과하라며 굴욕적인 태도를 요구하고 보상을 고집하며 소중한 시간을 낭비하게 만든다. 메리와 구급대원 이브, 그리고 지나가던 친절한 시민들이 상황의 심각성을 알리며 길을 비켜달라고 애원하지만, 카렌은 끝까지 고집을 부린다. 그녀는 자신이 가로막고 있는 소방차가 사실은 자신의 딸을 살리려 하고 있다는 사실을 전혀 모른 채 그렇게 행동하는데...

As a Female short drama, "후회라는 이름의 벌" exceeded my expectations. The storyline is interlocking, and the actors' performances are online without awkward acting. The only drawback might be the rushed ending, but overall it's a good drama worth recommending.
