Description
Caroline wurde gerade mit Krebs diagnostiziert und ihr mitgeteilt, dass sie nur noch drei Monate zu leben hat, als Stacy, die ehemalige Geliebte ihres Mannes Eric, auftaucht und ein sechsjähriges Kind bei sich hat, von dem sie behauptet, dass es das Kind von Eric ist. Eric verletzt Caroline wiederholt. Während ihre Krebssymptome verschlimmern und sie in die Verzweiflung versinkt, beschließt sie, sich von ihm zu scheiden. Erst nachdem sie sich getrennt haben, bemerkt Eric, dass er nicht ohne sie leben kann, und er erfährt schließlich von der Krebsdiagnose seiner Ex-Frau. Bis dahin ist es zu spät für eine Versöhnung, denn Caroline ist entschlossen, ihre letzten Tage nicht damit zu verbringen, ihn zu lieben.
