Description
Caroline acaba de ser diagnosticada com câncer e é informada de que tem apenas três meses de vida quando Stacy, a antiga paixão de seu marido Eric, aparece com uma criança de seis anos que ela diz ser filha de Eric. Eric passa a enganar Caroline repetidamente e, à medida que os sintomas do câncer pioram e ela entra em desespero, decide se divorciar dele. Somente após a separação é que Eric percebe que não pode viver sem ela e, finalmente, fica sabendo do diagnóstico de câncer de sua ex-esposa. A essa altura, já é tarde demais para uma reconciliação, pois Caroline está determinada a não passar seus últimos dias amando-o.
