Description
Tracey, mère célibataire, travaille dur pour élever seule ses jumeaux. Son fils cadet Henry déteste sa famille et considère Logan, son frère aîné atteint d'une maladie cardiaque, comme un fardeau. Logan est victime d'un accident de voiture et adopté par un homme riche, ce qui change sa vie à jamais. Tracey a continué à faire des petits boulots en tant que bonne. Tracey et Logan n'ont jamais renoncé à se retrouver, et Logan, aujourd'hui PDG, se sent lié à Tracey dès qu'ils se rencontrent à nouveau. Le sacrifice désintéressé de Tracey a été vain pour Henry. Il a honte d'elle et s'empresse de nier la connaître, allant même jusqu'à la brutaliser ouvertement. Enfin, au mariage d'Henry, alors qu'il est sur le point de fracasser une bouteille de vin sur Tracey, Logan reçoit les résultats du test ADN. La femme qui se fait humilier est sa propre mère !
