Description
Annie und Liam waren ein glückliches junges Paar – bis Annie beinahe Opfer eines Übergriffs wurde. Liam rettete sie, verletzte dabei den Täter schwer und landete im Gefängnis. Um ihn zu retten, musste Annie einen Deal mit der mächtigen Holland-Familie eingehen: Sie verließ Liam, täuschte Habgier vor und verschwieg ihre Schwangerschaft. Sechs Jahre später schlägt Annie sich als Putzkraft durch, während Liam als Erbe der Holland-Familie erfolgreich und mächtig ist. Doch er ist verbittert und glaubt, Annie habe ihn betrogen. Trotzdem kann er sie nicht vergessen und steht ihr immer wieder bei – während Annie ihn meidet, aus Angst um ihren Sohn Henry und aus Schuldgefühlen für die Vergangenheit. Liam erkennt, dass Henry der Schlüssel ist, um Annie zurückzugewinnen. Mit Geduld und einem Plan will er all die Hindernisse beseitigen, die sie einst getrennt haben.
